This project, for Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, spanned a two-year period of careful planning and logistics to be with and go inside people's tents in the center of Los Angeles' Skid Row. Most views of the city's homeless happen from across a street or in an overly-dramatized display of hardship that continues to other or exploit them. This assignment treated tents as homes and built up familiarity and respect to offer a more intimate and human view that celebrated our similarities, rather than our differences.
